EnsadLab has three purposes: training the new generation of artists and designers through research, allowing them to pursue their education with a practice based doctoral degree, as well as conducting and promoting its own research projects. 

The École des Arts Décoratifs, a public school under the authority of the French Ministry of Culture, awards a master’s degree (4 semesters). Since 2020, the undergraduates are awarded a bachelor's degree (6 semesters). 

The first year is common to all the students who passed the competitive entrance examination.
It enables students to acquire the theoretical, technical and methodological basics common to all departments of our School.

Interior designers create living spaces They use an architecture, an environment to create spaces. They work from an empirical and personal standpoint — which does not exclude a global vision.

The Fashion and Accessory Design department offers students numerous viewpoints on fashion and accessories. They focus on craftsmanship, technique and on artistic, theoretical and experimental conceptualization, in relation to current social and environmental issues. 

The scenography department explores both the practical and theoretical aspects of performing arts, exhibitions, cinema and events, with professionals and outside partners who work in those fields.

The Product Design department provides the theoretical, technical, scientific and plastic tools required to carry out a project successfully, using design and practice.

The “raison d'être” of the Printed Image department is to train the creators of unique and multiple images fit for our contemporary world, focusing on their unique identities and their commitment as authors or artists.
