You may apply to an exchange program if you wish to study in a European or in an international school that has signed a direct agreement with the École des Arts Décoratifs.
Exchange students will be enrolled both at the École des Arts Décoratifs, for up to two semesters, and at their home institution.
They are exempt from registration fees, as their tuition are paid at their home institution.
Most workshops are English friendly, but classes are taught primarily in French. Decent knowledge of French or English is thus expected. During their stay at the École des Arts Décoratifs, international students have access to free French classes.
Upon arrival, they receive a student card from the École des Arts Décoratifs. Throughout their stay, they enjoy the same rights and responsibilities as our students.
At the end of their study stay at the École des Arts Décoratifs, exchange students are given a certificate and a transcript which lists the grades and credits they have been awarded for each course. The workload for a semester at the École des Arts Décoratifs usually corresponds to 30 ECTS credits (60 ECTS credits for an entire academic year). The exchange students’ learning agreement may provide for a lighter workload, but it must never equal fewer than 25 ECTS credits.
Application deadline :
- April 6 for the fall semester and the academic year (mid-September/late January)
- October 1st for the spring semester (beginning of February/late May)
